Gantry Robot

Gantry robots can utilize an entire cubic work envelope of 96% of their space and size. A Cartesian robot has three axes. Like their namesake and more recognizable giant cousins, the gantry crane, they are commonly suspended from an X or X/Y axis beam on a rigid structure. Coordinates in three axes are usually defined as X, Y and Z. Each axis is arranged at right angles to allow three degrees of motion. Gantries are further characterized by support at either ends or through the addition of a second member. Unlike arm style robots, gantries can easily scaled to larger proportions in all three axes.

Delta Pick And Place Robot

The two-axis delta robot is ideal for high speed toploading pick & place processes. The proven concept design with a minimum of mechanical components results in a high quality robot.

The parallel kinematic design is clean, fast and silent. The robot is designed to perform with payloads of up to 40 kg and a working envelope of up to 1500 mm. The robot can be controlled by various industry standard motion control systems.

Single Infeed, Multiple Pallet Robotic Palletizer

This Palletizing System allows to simultaneously palletize different SKU’s according to their content, on different pallets. This palletizing system can be configured for up to 9 pallet positions. The palletizer is an integrated system including conveyors, bar code scanners and one or multiple robotic arms. Originally developed for the food market, the centralized palletizing system complies with industry standards with regard to both safety and sanitation.

With six articulation points, and a wide scope of flexibility, the collaborative robot arms are designed to mimic the range of motion of a human arm. Robotic Bag Palletizer

Bags are typically filled by a valve pack machine or other upstream filling and sealing equipment. They are then placed on an outfeed conveyor and conveyed to a palletizing system. Optional check weighing, bag flattening, bag labeling, or bag squaring equipment can be utilized to reduce order inaccuracies and increase load stability.

Once the bag reaches the robotic palletizer, a "clam" style gripper picks up the bags without puncturing them and places them on the pallet. An interlocking pattern and tier sheets can be applied to the load in order to increase load stability. Once a load is complete, it can be picked up by a fork lift operator or conveyed automatically to a stretch wrapper. Finally, a new pallet is presented to the robot manually or via conveyance from a pallet dispenser.

Typically, cases are fed into a robotic cell by a conveyor system. A palletizing robot picks one or multiple cases and quickly and accurately places them on a pallet. The pattern is constructed layer by layer until the complete pallet is ready for further processing.


Pallet patterns are programmed into the robot and can easily be changed or added. The robot can also handle pallets, slip sheets and tier sheets utilizing a custom-designed end of arm tool for completely automatic pallet building.
